Labels

Borton d.o.o. offers you the production of almost all types of labels in rolls on different materials. Depending on the type of product to which the label is applied, our employees will recommend you the appropriate material, type of glue, method of application, but also provide you with all the tips to give your product the label that belongs to it. Whether self-adhesive or non-self-adhesive, everything from paper to metallized paper to plastic can be chosen as the label material.

The application of self-adhesive labels in rolls is multiple. As a part of packaging or as a declaration, they can be used in all production processes: in trade, food, pharmaceutical, motor, cosmetic, textile industry, etc.

The choice of label depends on its application, so labels can be, depending on the material from which they are made:

• direct thermal labels or thermally sensitive (application in direct thermal printing technology, which use, among other things, digital scales, which can be ordinary - thermal eco or coated with one or two layers - thermal top labels, to protect against chemical damage );
• thermal transfer labels (used in thermal transfer printing technology, used by most bar code printers);
• paper labels (which have the widest application and can also be self-adhesive cardboard);
• plastic labels (PE, PP, PVC, PET; when it is necessary for the top layer to be well protected from chemical, such as grease, or mechanical wear, such as scratching, and when the material to which they are glued is also plastic; mostly in the cosmetics, oil and motor industries; they can be white but also transparent);
• decorative labels (which are made on specially designed decorative materials and are usually used in the wine industry);
• special labels (these are labels made of special materials that can withstand high temperatures, chemical and mechanical influences, etc.)

By type of processing, we make self-adhesive labels as:

• blank;
• In colour;
• prepress;
• with gold print;
• embossed;
• with protective varnish.

According to the purpose of the label can be:

• finished product (these are mostly already designed and printed labels or declarations);
• semi-finished product (when the user himself preprints part of the text or the entire text on his bar code printer).

Dates

Hot stamp dates are used for various types of marking directly on production packages. They are usually used to set the date and expiration date of the product. They are suitable for small series of product markings. In addition to the date, you can print with them: the expiration date of the product, lot code, or some other internal labels. They use hot stamp ribbons for marking. I can print from one to three lines. Speed, print direction and position are adjustable and depend on the date model. All models come with a built-in temperature stabilizer for a variety of printing materials. 

Ribbons

Thermal ribbons come as three main types, wax, wax-resin or resin and almost all are black. Other colors that are occasionally used are mostly red and blue. We are also able to offer you gold and silver ribbons. 

Different types are made to print on labels made of different materials that are applied when, for example, it is necessary for the label to last a very long time or to have to survive in a harsh environment.

Wax ribbons are intended for printing on paper labels that can last for years but must be dry and must not be exposed to mechanical harsh influences or chemicals and oils as the applied ribbon will dissolve or be damaged.

Wax-resin ribbons leave a smoother record on very smooth paper or lined paper labels. The printed materials on the labels are much more durable than when using wax ribbon but can only survive for a short time due to exposure to water.

Finally, pure resin ribbons are formulated for printing on plastic labels such as polyester, polypropylene and vinyl. The ink from these ribbons is designed so that it is poorly soluble but strongly adheres to the plastic surface of the label and so that it is externally durable, which partly depends on the plastic material and ribbon used.

Applicators

They can use roll labels, stickers or barcode labels printed on a printer and rewound in a roll.
It can stick different sizes of labels without adjustment.
Place the labels in the roll on the bracket, remove the label holder by turning it to the left and pull it towards you before placing the label roll. The labels come out of the machine part when you pull the lever. Apply the sticker to the place you want.

Security labels

The security label is made of polyester film and the protective liner is glass paper.

After we stick it on the surface of the content, there is no difference from ordinary labels. But when we tear it off, the hidden words 'VOID' or 'VOID OPEN' will appear. It completely transfers to the surface we stick it to and cannot be fixed to come back. This means that the content is open.

The hidden message can be customized, we can put any word or graphic in it, like bar code, serial number and more.

The low transfer means that when we tear it off, the surface we hold on to will reveal the words 'VOID' or 'VOID OPEN' and the rest will remain on the sticker.

High transfer means that when we tear it off, the words 'VOID' or 'VOID OPEN' will remain on the label and the rest will be revealed on the surface we are holding onto.

No transfer means that when we tear off if we take it off, both the words 'VOID' or 'VOID OPEN' and the rest will be revealed on the sticker itself.

The sticker image size and design can be customized.

Filming

Making graphic films from a client's file / filming / - or "lighting graphic films" as it is still popularly called is another standard professional service that Borton provides to its users. For the needs of offset, flexo, screen, pad, as well as any other printing technique that requires the use of graphic film, digital laser illumination of graphic films is at your service. According to your wishes and requirements, we illuminate and make films up to 720 mm wide, with a maximum length of up to 558 mm. The maximum resolution is 5048dpi. This service involves the "release" of PostScript files, pdf or "open" files (from CorelDRAW, Illustrator, etc.,), in the shortest possible time, with constant quality control and correct collegiality. Special discounts and benefits for regular customers and larger businesses…
